Namaste! I have been practicing yoga for over five years. I began my yoga practice because I was curious of what all of the 'hype' around yoga was...after my first class it was love at first try!

Yoga has shifted my entire mindset. With yoga in my life, I am more accepting, open to trying new challenges, and most of all, grateful. The challenging practice on the mat requires one to believe in 'mind over matter,' and this discovery extends to life beyond the yoga mat. I LOVE to conquer my mind in a difficult pose and I LOVE to support my students and watch them conquer as well. It is truly magical and it is what inspired me to become a yoga teacher.

My favorite yoga poses are balancing half moon and crow pose. Both poses allow me to tap into strength and balance I didn't even believe to have. It shows what mind of matter and persistence can truly lead to and keeps me feeling playful and strong in my practice.

In my free time I enjoy developing my own yoga practice, reading books, DIY projects, cooking/baking, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering. I am an animal rights activist and have wonderful vegan recipes that I am always willing to share!
